About us

This website is operated by Maybush Pharmacy, 99 Rownhams Road, Maybush, Southampton SO16 5EB, telephone 023 8077 1211. We are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and provide NHS services under contract with NHS England. By using this website or our services you accept these terms.

Health information on this site

The content on this website is general information about our services. It is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat a condition. Always speak to our pharmacist, your GP or NHS 111 for advice about your own health. In an emergency call 999.

Callback requests

The form on this website is a request for us to call you back. It is not a secure messaging service, so please do not send sensitive medical details through it, and do not use it for anything urgent. We aim to respond during pharmacy opening hours; submitting a form does not create a patient relationship or guarantee a service until we have spoken to you.

Prescriptions and deliveries

  • We can only dispense against a valid NHS or private prescription, and only where the pharmacist judges it clinically appropriate.
  • Free local delivery is offered at our discretion within our usual delivery area. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by stock, supplier shortages and surgery turnaround.
  • Someone must be available to receive medicines. Where a medicine requires proof of identity or age, we may refuse to leave it.
  • Please check your medication on receipt and contact us straight away if anything looks wrong.

Charges and returns

NHS prescription charges and exemptions are set by the NHS. Private services and retail products are charged at the prices displayed in the pharmacy at the time of supply. For safety reasons, medicines cannot be returned or exchanged once they have left the pharmacy, except where they are faulty or supplied in error. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Appointments and clinics

Vaccination and clinic appointments are subject to eligibility, stock and a suitability assessment by the pharmacist. Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange.

Website use and content

All text, images, logos and branding on this site belong to Maybush Pharmacy or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. You agree not to misuse this website or attempt to disrupt it. We may change or withdraw content at any time.

Liability

We take care to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please speak to the pharmacist or call 023 8077 1211 so we can put it right. NHS service complaints can also be raised with NHS England. Our regulator is the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy

How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
